✅ Confirm Installation Time

You’ll get a confirmation call from our team once your door arrives at our facility. We’ll lock in a time that works for your household.

🧹 Clear Out Garage & Driveway

Please clear out:

  • Inside the garage: All items from wall to wall, 8 feet back from the door.
  • Driveway: So we can safely unload tools and your new panels.

Why 8 feet?
We set up the new panels inside the garage on horses and build the door from the inside out. That extra space is essential.

🏗️ Pre-Install Site Visit (For Special Projects)

If your project includes new construction or is more complex, we’ll schedule a pre-installation site visit to get eyes on the space. This helps prevent delays and ensures your install goes off without a hitch.

❌ Dry Run Disclaimer

Dry Run = Wasted Day + $515 Fee

If we arrive and can’t install because of a blocked garage, active construction, incorrect trim, or other preventable issues—we charge a $515 Dry Run Fee to cover crew mobilization costs.

We’ll work with you to avoid this, but please double-check access before install day.

🚚 Moving Help Policy

We’re garage door pros—not a moving crew. If we need to move personal items, we charge $65/hour per installer (1-hour minimum).

Help us help you: prep ahead so we can focus on what we do best.

🔧 During Installation

Arrival & Kickoff

Our crew will arrive on time, walk through the plan with you, and get to work. Most installs take 2–5 hours, depending on complexity.

Final Walk-Through

Once the job is complete, we’ll show you:

  • How to use your door and opener
    (Safety sensors, force limits, manual release)
  • Wall station functions (if installed)
  • Annual maintenance best practices
    (including Kooler’s Golden Key Club if you’re a member)

Final Payment & Review

We’ll wrap up with secure, on-site checkout and a quick review request.
